IrON Eisenstadt – Multifunctional Energy Networks to supply urban areas

The “IrON Eisenstadt” smart city project is exploring scenarios and methods for strengthening the role of an industrial and commercial area in Eisenstadt as a sustainably functioning technology hub. This aim is intelligent optimisation of both energy demand and energy consumption structures within the existing energy, mobility, and communications system in the regional capital, and to develop a model for ideal conditions in these areas.
